Mornings always started early in the Chikamori household, which usually meant one thing everyone got their rear-ends out of bed and did their chores. Of course River headed out to milk the cows, Braden usually got himself stung at the beehives (of course he was lucky this morning).
OK...maybe Braden wasn't so lucky...(I shouldn't assume). That's gotta hurt.
Of course, this morning, River and Haruo decided that playing pool was a great idea, so they went ahead and did so...
Of course that degenerated...
In the afternoon, the kids came home from military school and headed straight for the kitchen table (which will have to do until the Chikamoris get a study room built for the kids). Needless to say, Colin wasn't too enamored of homework, nor the idea of a dedicated study room. Tough beans, kiddo.
...and night quickly fell on the town of Cape Garner. Haruo and River had their own things that they had to do.
Of course, while River and Haruo were doing artistic efforts; Greta was making Rorschach impressions on the hardwood floor...with juice. Yeah...getting a bit tipsy, are we, Greta? Perhaps playing bottle flip with juice-bottles is probably not the best idea in the- *crash*...yeah...OK...
...at least she had some success in creating something that was somewhat drinkable.
Yet another morning; yet another day...and River and Haruo were back at the artistic ventures. And the kids decided to play a little more footie before school.
...eventually, Haruo and River got hungry enough to head downstairs and eat. But then it was back to the sculpting wheel for River.
Evidently, Lucinda Powers and Katrina (Brianna's kid) came home with Karina and they all did homework together.
The next morning, Braden got stung yet again by bees...evidently whatever he's doing isn't working because the bees seem to be perennially teed off.
Let's just say that was going to smart for a while.
