Enter Kyla and Zombie

The next morning was the first for their new live-in maid, Kyla McRennie who would be a part of their family. Kyla got busy with her daily tasks by going downstairs and doing the laundry. Needless to say, Kyla was quite impressed by her boss' wealth.

The Chikamoris were now well-known around Cape Garner parts and Kyla felt lucky to be in with a kind family who were relatively undemanding as far as tasks were concerned. Just so long as the house was clean and the laundry kept up, it certainly didn't bother them if the task was done by midday and she had the rest of the day off except during mealtimes. The elevator, however, was NOT so friendly.

Kyla got a chance to grab a meal roughly about the time that Braden got off work...Braden came home and sat down to eat a freshly cooked meal, instead of left-overs.

He then proceeded to play a table-top arcade game with Karina.

Colin opted to play with chemicals again.

Kyla went down to retrieve the laundry.

...and Haruo painted a masterpiece.

Braden gave his daughter a hug and his wife, Greta, an even bigger hug...

Kyla being a Lev 10 cook (have to in order to be a live-in housekeeper as well as Lev 10 handiness, gardening and fishing) whipped up a few more items for the fridge for left-overs.

Braden had a day off the next morning and sat down to eat breakfast with his parents, then it was out to the garden to harvest plants and tend the garden.

Greta on the other hand experimented a little too much with juice...yeah, oopsies...

Evidently Greta, despite being a shy sim, is really friendly when buzzed.

...and she was really buzzed...after a few...too many at their home juice-bar. Happy trails. Was it any wonder that she decided to get frisky with her husband?

River, after dropping off a painting, ran into Aidan and had a nice little chat and a friendly hug.

It was approaching sundown...as the town geared up for what would happen that night. One had to be watchful.

Dinner was early...and the kids cycled home quickly from their friends place because tonight was the night of the ominous full moon.

The full moon rose as an eerie pale green glow enveloped the town.

River played some piano...which was kind of hard to do due to the pale green glow that seemed to spawn from everything around them. It was spooky and disconcerting. Kyla took things in stride and set about making sure that everything was shipshape and that the security of the house was kept in mind.

Greta and Braden got frisky; and River and Haruo headed upstairs, knowing that their house was securely locked up tight.

The doors all got locked...which was a good thing because a zombie happened to spawn right outside their front door. And was promptly set on fire by the Watcher.

That'll leave a stain that's hard to clean up in the morning...plus the smell of charred rotting flesh.
