Allan II

In the morning, River and Haruo brought Allan out to the crib in the living room and put him in there so that they could get busy on the money-making tasks for the day.

Allan Takeo Chikamori was a quiet baby who didn't fuss much and spent most of his time in the crib staring up at the ceiling.

Haruo and River did what they had to do. Haruo wrote novels and RIver painted.

When Allan did fuss, he only did so because he was either hungry, had a dirty diaper or was lonely. And River attended to him, holding him and feeding him or changing his diaper when necessary.

It just so happened that River had a "Painting the City" (Thank you MC) opportunity come in, so she went down to City Hall and divested herself of the 15 Large Paintings that she had already accumulated.

Haruo adored his infant son. He held the little baby in his arms and snuggled with him, revelling in the fact that he was now a father.

Of course Fiona got time with her grandson as well.

And there was a whole lotta love to go around for little Allan.
