In the morning Yasunobu went and broke more spacerocks but surprisingly didn't get a single gemstone out of all of them that he busted up.
His two younger brothers, because of the warm spell, went out instead to fish in their pond, which was quite fun. At least they didn't have to go anywhere to go find the fish that they needed. Everything was stocked and ready for rod and reel.
Haruo fielded a date call from Madison Van Watson which he turned down flat. "No thank you, I'm a happily married sim. No there is no likelihood of my ever being divorced. Good bye."
River painted yet another masterpiece which brought in almost §1900 into the household upon selling it.
After some less than stellar interactions with Clark Sauer when he was asked to come repair electrical items, Haruo opted to save himself the aggravation and just fix the darned thing himself. He was lucky and didn't zap himself.
Yasunobu went to pay the bills while Haruo had to fend off yet another phone call. "No Morgana, I really thought that you were married to Thornton. No, I'm sorry, I'm not in the slightest bit interested. I'm happily married to River. No...not interested. Good bye." Oy, some sims!
Frustrated at the obtuseness of the townies who didn't get the idea that other sims could be happily married and uninterested in destroying their own marriages, he went up and had dinner with his beloved wife.
Meanwhile Satoshi had a lovely dance with his wife and River's mother got really close with Toshiyuki.
Such was life at the Chikamori household. It was nice and quiet...along with a whole smattering of romance.
