After Satoshi, Molly and Sandi left for their new home, Toshiyuki and Fiona left for the Bistro to have themselves a bit of an afternoon date.
Where they saw Gus O'Malley-Hart who had a love-lorn expression because River had told him to take a long walk off a short-pier when he had called to ask for a date. Really, he didn't understand why? Some sims are dense. "Why...won't River go out with me?"
Probably because she's happily married, you dolt!
The happily married River Chikamori was painting...an alien.
Considering she was hungry she went to the fridge to get some Key Lime Pie - thank goodness, she was past her first trimester as Key Lime Pie doesn't taste all that great coming back up the esophagus. Haruo joined her at the table because he was hungry too. They also were talking about how close the tiberium was to their food supply and the radiation probably wasn't that good for the food even though the fridge was quite insulated. Perhaps moving the Carter's Large Display shelf would be a wise choice.
Toshiyuki, after a wonderful date with Fiona, decided on a monumental life-changing decision and popped the question to which Fiona eagerly and most enthusiastically said "YES!". Ah, the Chikamori men have quite the way with the women. :D
And...Toshiyuki and Fiona couldn't get enough of each other.
Meanwhile River's nesting urges prompted her to put away all stray books in the house.
Haruo was working on his martial arts with the spare set of training dummy and breaking blocks that they had purchased while in Shang Sim La and River came up to watch him. Her eyes were wide when she noticed that he was breaking concrete panels.
And then her hormones kicked in...the arousal of a virile male breaking boards with his bare hands...elicited some deep primordial want in her. Yes, pregnancy hormones can do that...
...and they ended up in the shower again. :D The things that shower has seen.
