Meanwhile, River and the rest of the family had dinner at the Bistro; Haruo afterwards ended up playing bowling - he really isn't all that good at it.
Masatoshi and Caitlin had themselves a private wedding in their room, mainly to save on costs because they wanted to move out and find a place of their own, which after working for many years in sciences, Masatoshi could afford to buy a house finally. They promptly moved out.
Haruo went out to milk the cow the next morning...and transfigure jewels.
He also received some out-standing apples from the Bistro because his meal last night was so unappetizing looking, so he planted them so that his father could get the benefit of being able to pick higher-quality apples from the trees that would result from planting them instead of eating them.
The meal was a family affair, with everyone coming over to sit down. Usually for most of them, dinners and such were not so "get-together-ish" They were usually "go to the fridge and grab yer own grub whenever..." sort of meal-times. So this was rather unusual.
Perhaps making a bowl of vegetarian chili wasn't the best idea for Haruo to have done. Some wag stated that Sims tend to cause fires just by standing up. Well...that proved to be the case because most dishes with ghost chilis tended to cause Sims to become walking flamethrowers. At least they managed to put the inferno out themselves. Who knew ghost chilis could cause §9600 in damages.
Toshiyuki in one of his sprees of inventing managed to invent a Miner. This was one of the things other than a Time Machine which he certainly could utilize (but he still hasn't been able to do that yet. The Watcher is not letting him die until he constructs a time machine) Now get to it, Toshiyuki. Time's a wastin'!
Landon Bagley seems to have a real problem with getting stuck and not knowing what to do, so the Watcher decided to give him a reminder, shocking, huh? And well, Quentin was skipping school again...Tut tut tut...don't you know that education is the road to higher learning...and wages?
...you'd think that these Sims would realize that their Watcher is a vengeful Creator. Dost thou thinkest that one can flout the tenets of life and find mercy? Thou is kidding thine self.
