The evening started out calm and peaceful as Haruo prepared dinner.
It was later at night that River received a frantic call from her half-sister, Caitlin, that Cait's water had broken. Well, that involved a frantic rush to the hospital. and several tense hours later (by Sims standards) a bouncing baby boy was born.
Once they got little Kai home, River hugged her nephew, Jerad and headed home to sleep.
All was quiet and peaceful in Riverview that night...
Someone, however, ignored the baby and left him on the kitchen floor. Luckily Masatoshi picked him up and cuddled him. Poor little Kai.
Dawn brought its rosy hues to the sky as the new day started.
...and well, River wanted to spend some time with her husband...
...which of course was interrupted by some caller who wanted to know if River was free tonight to go on a date. Needless to say he probably needed to apply some burn ointment to his ear after River got through with him.
After she got off the phone she looked over at the wall. Never would she violate the vows that she and her husband had taken so many years before.
Hell would freeze over before she gave anybody else a second look.
