Life Goes By So Fast

It was at about 7PM the same evening that Braden received wind of rumors flying around that he was found "in someone's trashcan" which would have been quite hard since he was off all week at home, having ROTP (Reserve Officer Training Program - he was now a Lieutenant) on the weekends, he would more than likely go into the military as an officer when he got back from training, skipping the enlisted ranks. So with this slander, he headed down to the courthouse (city hall) and sued the slimy, no-good, trash-heap-dwelling, scum-siphoning maggot who dared to desecrate his good name. He did learn a lot from his ROTP drill sergeant.

So Braden was embroiled in a court battle while the rest of the family had dinner. And well, he succeeded in clearing his name and resisting the urge to beat the sewer-dwelling rapscallion to a bloody pulp, he went home in a taxi.

Alanna was downstairs working out on the weight machine.

...while Dad tried to keep from inhaling copious amounts of water from the geysering sink which threatened to flood the entire house. Well, he managed to repair it in the end. He's gonna have to dry-clean that suit after it dries.

...and River helped her husband clean up the sopping mess...by mopping up the floor.

Tired and needing some solace, Haruo went downstairs and played the piano, his go-to hobby for comfort. He felt old and worn out.

...and River did the laundry...she was the one that had access to all the rooms with laundry hampers in them as she could do them all in one shot.

Breakfast in the morning was the usual restrained mayhem...and well, since Brianna was the first one out the door (education career) she had to eat and head out.

With a few windy days, the trees had pretty much all lost the majority of their leaves and the sims knew that "winter was coming".

Brianna broke boards utilizing the board breaker and Yasunobu spent copious amounts of time in the garden; his place to relax.

...and Haruo, trying not to think about how fast life was going, played the piano, cut gemstones and tried to work on his violin.

But that's life. It speeds by in an instant while you are trying to make sense of it all.
