As darkness fell upon Riverview, things had quieted down from the excitement of the day. Family members took time to decompress from the day's festivities...and take some time to themselves to contemplate the passing of time.
Things were quiet at the graveyard...with not much activity from those who had passed on. It was, after all, a place of repose; a place to contemplate one's mortality. However it was also a place which could be trespassed at any time as well. One such trespassing sim was contemplating the tombstones of the Chikamoris who went on before.
Elsa Johansson felt under the weather and well, decided that she had better get checked out at the hospital, perhaps get a flu shot and try to survive the inclement weather.
Afterwards, being hungry, she went over to Hogan's Diner then decided to go to the bookstore to get a couple of skill books to read.
Morning brought River and Brianna to the kitchen for breakfast. As River gazed upon her daughter, she realized that Brianna was soon to age up very shortly. After all, she wasn't that much younger than her older brother.
River realized just how much her daughter had grown in these past years...and well...it was certainly telling how mature her daughter was for her age. And sighing she realized just how much she, herself, had aged. At least they had done what was best for their children. As much as they could, they had put the needs and requirements of their children first.
Fumiko was enjoying herself playing VR games. It was the weekend after-all, since the graduation was held on a Friday.
River went upstairs and applied chainsaw to ice-block to carve an ice-sculpture.
Since it was the weekend, everyone pretty much, with the exception of Braden who still had to work at his CROTP training program for two days every weekend until he headed off to university (which would be when the last teenage Chikamori left high-school.
Haruo, as usual, spent time in the kitchen topping up the left-overs in the Minus One Kelvin Fridge. After all, when sims came home tired from work, the last thing they wanted to do was have to figure out what they wanted to eat, and when they were done doing that, cook it.
...so as long as Haruo was able to do so, he was the designated cook in the family.
