Cosmic Retribution

River behaves so much like my beloved RL wife @Featherbelle in the mornings that it's uncanny: Get up, nearly fork yourself in the face with the eating utensil, swear up a blue streak, go over to the coffee maker, make coffee and grumble that the dam coffeemaker is taking too long to percolate.

The Watcher never really understood other people's fascination with coffee...nor could he overcome the gag reflex when it came to drinking coffee.

Calum Mackenzie was perhaps the one regret of Haruo's life, mainly because after helping Calum get himself established, Calum went ahead and became the town thug with his passel of cronies.

And of course there was a crime wave going on of sorts in Riverview. Muggings, outright robbery and other things. So the Watcher had to get involved...yet again.

Well, nobody ever said that life wasn't exciting (or electrifying). It wasn't too long before the Watcher caught wind of a mugging at Hogan's diner. And well, this Watcher is a "hands-on Watcher..." Nothing like a few space-rocks to brighten up one's day. And it gave old Susan Chikamori something to collect. Makes her feel useful. One of these days, she's going to get nailed by one, I suspect, if she doesn't time her teleport just right.

Evidently that sim who conducted the mugging was a slippery little devil and managed to avoid getting hit by a space-rock...so it was round two. I'll get you next time.

In other news, River was sculpting as an extra bit of artistic skill on top of her painting. It certainly resulted in an increase in numbers of sculptures being consigned to the family inventory because there is no space on the family lot to put them all. And she has been trying to get a Brilliant sculpture with relative futility.

It appeared as though the crime spree in Riverview was continuing unabated including threats being made and general mayhem and havoc. The Watcher yet again had to intercede with some cosmic retribution. Hey, the Sims love it. Walking down the street is a gamble.

And Yasunobu admired his death-flowers.

They looked a little frail, but well...nothing a good watering won't fix. After all, gotta have a good one for the Grim Reaper so that he won't reap your soul.
