Growing Steak and Hamburgers

Morning brought Haruo out to tend the garden as his Dad had other things he had to do. Also it was the fact that Haruo had the Exceedingly Rare opportunity that allowed him to be able to get 10 cheeses in order to get the opportunity to be able to plant and cultivate steaks and hamburger patties. And it made more sense for Haruo to complete it as he would be taking over the gardening duties as his father aged into the latter half of his elder stage.

There was a lot to do as he gathered up the lettuce. On top of that there were other vegetables and fruits to gather up. And of course the all-important excellent quality cheese that needed to be accumulated so that he could take it down to the Bistro and get the opportunity to be able to plant those steak and hamburger plants.

Meanwhile River took hammer in hand and started chipping away at a large section of wood in order to make a sculpture. Well, luckily she didn't create an "Evil Lenny; the Freezer Bunny" - that sculpture would give sims nightmares. Even so, she had two in the family inventory. But who to sell them to?

Susan was either working indefinitely or was trying to solve the unsolveable. Anyways, it gave her something to do when she wasn't down in the basement trying to create some sort of radiation laced experimental seeds.

Yasunobu evidently found the string bass very interesting and decided to spend a lot of time practicing it whenever he got back from doing whatever it was that he was doing.

After solving the problem of skin slippage from overripe fruits, Susan decided to head downstairs to the basement to try to invent something at the inventing table and run the risk of turning herself into a sim Tiki-torch. Well, it could be worse, she could set the whole house on fire and then where would they be?

Haruo did come out of the Bistro with the Exceedingly Rare opportunity completed and a chance to now grow rare steak and hamburger patties in the garden. How sitting out in the garden doesn't subject the meat to salmonella bacteria baffles the daylights out of me. But...it's Sims. Go figure.

Haruo suddenly realized that he was extremely hungry and did a complete 180 degree turn, changed into a suit and tie and headed back into the bistro of which he was part owner and get himself something to eat. After all, there's no sense in starving to death especially after you got one of the best gardening opportunities for miles around.

Yasunobu on the other hand after making his fingertips sore with the strings on the double bass, headed upstairs to fix the computer which was making funny noises and throwing off sparks - that would be a fire-hazard in real life. But in Sims...well...another day another dollar. When Yasunobu was done fixing the computer, he went ahead and started writing yet another books

Getting a call to sell a painting, Haruo headed off to make the deal.

River while she was waiting for Haruo to come back started on a metal sculpture. And at least even though it was possbile to also set oneself on fire with that, River was a Level 10 sculptor easily sidestepping those situations and enabling her to create a wonderful...chair.

When Haruo got home, he immediately went to River.

...and some time together outside watching the stars.
